Workout Night

Tonight was my first trip to the gym this year.  I finally managed to add workouts into my routine.  Well, I finally came up with a plan to add workouts into my routine.  To make that happen, I need to hit the gym in the evening, after dinner.

Of course, that’s also writing time.  What’s an intrepid blogger to do?

Well, I’ve given myself permission to give a workout report.  These will not be deep or profound or particularly entertaining. They certainly will not be accounts of great feats of physical strength or prowess.

You’ll probably see a couple of these each week.

In any case, here’s tonight’s workout.

I swam tonight.  It was a pretty modest swim, since it was the first in a month or so.

My mental goal was 500 meters.

I ended up swimming 600 meters, all freestyle. I

1 x 100 m

2 x 200 m

1 x 100 m

That’s a very modest swimming workout, but it’s a start.

And the hot tub felt pretty nice afterward.
