You Need to Vote

It’s almost over, this inexorable march to the ballot box.  There’s only one thing left to do.

You need to vote.

If you are an adult American citizen who is registered to vote….

You need to vote.

If you are not registered, check the laws of your state to see if you can still register.  If you can do so, you need to register and then…

You need to vote.

If you don’t think you’re informed enough to cast a vote, educate yourself and then…

You need to vote.

If you don’t like Obama or Romney, pick a minor party candidate and then…

You need to vote.

If you don’t like any of them, write yourself in and then…

You need to vote.

Voting is what defines us as Americans.

Voting is what allows us to air our grievance…

To express the will of the people…

To solve our problems and enact change with ballots, not bullets.

If you want our government of the people, by the people, and for the people to endure, then…

We the People need to vote.
