And So Goes November

On New Year’s Day, Harry and I were sitting in the car in the Albertson’s parking lot. Alissa had run in for something.  Annie was either with her or asleep.

I told Harry, “Harry, it’s a brand new year, and it’s going to be a big year for you.  You’ll graduate from preschool.  You’ll move up to the big Sunday School room and you’ll start Kindergarten.  A lot’s going to change this year.  It’s very much a beginning for you.”

That doesn’t even factor in Annie starting pre-school, getting involved in a new church, and even my own decision to blog every day.  That would be made later that night.

Tonight, Harry and I were driving down to church.  He had gone with me to an eye doctor check up (still doing great, but I have become slightly far-sighted).  Annie was with Alissa.  As I drove down Aurora, I asked Harry if he remembered the conversation.  He did, and he agreed that I had been right.

It’s been a wild year, a fun year, and one of tremendous growth.  And there’s still a month left.
