Well, we made our decision about Harry’s kindergarten. He will be in full day kindergarten for the fall and is very excited about it. I figured that we had made our big decisions. Annie’s got her spot in pre-school set, and Harry’s plan for kindergarten is in place. I’m changing my work schedule to be able to get Harry home earlier, and we’re starting in June to get our routines established. So it’s just a matter of riding out the summer and starting school, right?
Somehow, this blindsided me, but Harry is ready for something more than day care for four days each week. The hunt is on for summer activities, and boy, are there a lot. He’s not ready for a full day camp setting, but there are lots of possibilities. We’re starting off with Tae Kwon Do for a little confidence and body control. Then there’s soccer, a drama and acting class, a space class at the Everett Children’s Museum, Vacation Bible School, and lots more. Annie’s taking gymnastics, just for good measure.
It’s a whole new world out there, isn’t it?
