I want to offer a simple disclaimer. I make no guarantee, warranty, or any form of promise that any thought that I present on this blog will be truly “Great”. Hopefully, I’ll offer writings that are intelligent, insightful, entertaining, amusing, or at worst, not a waste of your time. Who knows, I may throw in a nice photo here and there. I’ll write about politics, but there’s more to life than politics, so don’t be shocked to see posts about religion, entertainment, family life, and anything else that comes to mind.
I post something every day as part of Post a Day 2011 and National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo), which oddly enough seems to continue every month. Most posts will go up late in the evening, but not all. You can also check out my Twitter feed or Facebook Page for articles that I find interesting or thought-provoking.
It’s my hope that when you visit this blog, you will feel that my thoughts are great enough for you to join the discussion by leaving a comment. Maybe you’ll even share “Great” Thoughts with a friend. Most of all, I want you, my reader, to come away with a smile or, even better, with a great thought of your own.
Read your responses to the imigration/citizenship post from FP today. I just wanted to pop by and say that I admire your cool, collected, and thoughful responses to what I can only describe as a “Provocateur.” Thanks for being out there, bringing sanity and open-mindedness to this crazy world. =)

Thanks. I try. She may be a provacatuer, but I think she really believes what she’s saying which is a bit disturbing. Is it always like that on that blog, or did the author just really strike a chord with that post?
